Claude Merkel is a Producer and Writer.  For the past decade, he has risen from Freelance Contractor to in-house Producer to his current role as Senior Executive Producer of Sports & Culture Events at Red Bull Media House.  He oversees 15+ Live Broadcasts annually, ranging from Sporting events like Red Bull Rampage, Red Bull Straight Rhythm, Volcom Pipe Pro, Burton US Open of Snowboarding, Red Bull Hart Lines to Music Festivals, such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and Bonnaroo for Red Bull Media Networks.   He also oversees the Red Bull Signature Series which aired on NBC for the past five years and this year starts its run on the FOX Sports Networks. 

Prior working for Red Bull, Claude’s focus was on documentaries and broadcast television including series and special projects for The History Channel, The Outdoor Life Network, NBC and MTV.

Some of his strengths include script writing and working with On-Air Talent for productions such as Coachella; All Access 2016; “Harvey Can’t Mess With Texas” Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert; RBTV Season of Festivals (Live Streams): Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, ACL Music Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival 50th Anniversary and the Red Bull Signature Series.

His Production experience includes working in international locations with international production crews & event teams that expands across six continents and 30+ countries.

Claude graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, Cum Laude, Departmental Honors at UCLA.
